Kites fill the sky while colorful ground displays add splash to the beach. This dragon shaped kite was one of several species of kites flying at the 2007 Maryland International Kite Exposition in OC. It was a beautiful sunny day for flying kites at the 2007 MIKE event. The amazing 130 foot OLO is an unheard of 67 pound octopus kite. The Lehigh Valley Kite Society puts on an impressive ground display filled with images of pop culture. During July, City Hall manages the second largest city in Maryland. Skaters grind their boards on the lip of the bowl at the OC Skate Park. Daisys are in full bloom at city hall. The Episcopal Church across the street from city hall. OLO steals the show at the '07 MIKE in sunny Ocean City, MD. The MIKE added a splash of color to the tan beaches of Ocean City. This dragon shaped kite was a favorite attraction of the 2007 MIKE. The beach at Ocean City comes alive with color during the last weekend of April when the Maryland International Kite Exposition (MIKE). One of the smaller cousins of OLO is still larger than life. Daredevils on wheels flock to the Ocean City Skate Bowl to hone their skills. Even rollerbladers come to the skate park to catch some air. Skateboarders flock to the OC Skate Bowl.
